Revo SpA, a leader in the production of thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU) and elastomer-based alloys, is pleased to announce the implementation of a cutting-edge energy monitoring system, marking a significant step forward in our commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
Energy Monitoring: Operational from January 1, 2024
Revo SpA’s new energy monitoring system has been fully operational since January 1, 2024. This initiative represents a substantial investment in our infrastructure, aimed at optimizing energy consumption and reducing the environmental impact of our operations.
How the System Works
Our energy monitoring system is based on an integrated network of advanced instruments and management software, installed on every single component of our production plant. This comprehensive approach allows us to:
1. Monitor energy consumption in real-time for each stage of the production process
2. Quickly identify any inefficiencies or anomalies
3. Gather precise data for in-depth analysis and strategic planning
In parallel with energy monitoring, we have implemented equally detailed and automated systems for monitoring water and methane gas consumption related to our daily activities.
Next Steps: Associating CO2 Emissions with Production Batches
In our ongoing commitment to transparency and environmental responsibility, Revo SpA is working to implement a system that will associate the CO2 emissions released into the atmosphere with each production batch. We expect to complete this implementation by the end of the current year, providing our customers and partners with an even clearer view of the carbon footprint of our products.
